A9C-HAK (cn 23610/676) My wish came true - the Bahraini King did not only bring his 747-400, but also his 747-SP! Here it is seen pushing back for its flight home with couple hours of delay. |

A9C-HAK (cn 23610/676) Last SP ever built and most probably the rarest of them all, seen lining up on 27R under very dull weather conditions, as "Bahrain 2" for OKBK. |

A9C-HAK (cn 23610/676) "Bahrain 2" arrived at rainy Haneda 15 minutes after The King's 747-400. She was an accompany aircraft but the main target for photographers. 747SP itself is so rare here in Japan, but equipped with a satellite-communication system on the top, she looks even more special aircraft, the SP of 747SP. A9C-HAK (cn 23610/676) Second SP departure of the day, not many airports can claim this feat. In fact this was the last SP to be built in 1989. |

A9C-HAK (cn 23610/676) What a thrill to get a decent shot of a Boeing 747-SP nowadays... At that day, we had the Bahrain Royal Jets 744, the 727 and this baby in MUC for some reason. First scheduled departure for this one was 7pm but somehow this SPecial visitor was about to leave Munich only at 9.17pm. Flight BAH2 ready for its short trip to London-Heathrow on a warm July evening. Shot taken with 1/125 sec, at F2.8 and ISO250. [EOS 7D + 70-200 2.8 L IS] |

A9C-HAK (cn 23610/676) What a beauty she is, I love this aircraft! Reason for that visit was painting and maintenance at LHT! Bahrain 2 is seen here taxing on Kilo for t/o to Manama, Bahrain. |
