RP-C-8023 (cn 16) [Canon EOS 300D]. The Guppy had its engines removed recently. Local rumours suggest scrapping in about two weeks if a buyer isn't found. |

RP-C-8023 (cn 16) Conroy's conversion nearly doubled the hold capacity of this CL-44. Designed for intercontinental movement of oversize cargo, for example it was used to deliver Lynx helicopters (two at a time) to Brazil. The first post conversion flight was made on 26/11/1969, and delivered to Transmeridian Air Cargo who named it 'Skymonster'. At the time of posting the future for this aircraft is uncertain and may be scrapped. Thanks to Howard J. Curtis for the photo opportunity info. (Large is 1600 pix wide) |
