Untitled
Consolidated (Canadian Vickers) PBV-1A Canso A (28)
Glasgow - Prestwick (PIK / EGPK)
UK - Scotland, September 6, 2014
Remark
Photographer
G-PBYA / 433915 (cn CV-283) There were a lot of other aircraft participating in 'Scottish Airshow 2014' apart from the Lancasters and Vulcan. The sight of this beautiful old Canso touching down in (seemingly) slow motion on rw30 is a lovely memory from a super weekend.

G-PBYA / 433915 (cn CV-283) A wonderful sight to see this classic aircraft passing along the display line at Southport. This Catalina first flew with the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1943 - 71 years ago.

Untitled
Consolidated (Canadian Vickers) PBV-1A Canso A (28)
Duxford (EGSU)
UK - England, May 8, 2005
Remark
Photographer
G-PBYA (cn CV-283) Still carrying the colours it wore on delivery to the UK, and those representing its fire-fighting career in Canada (as C-FNJF) prior to its arrival, the Catalina is seen taxying in after performing at the 2005 Duxford Spring Air Show.
