Aircraft is restored from parts of two wreckaged Beaufighters - A19-144 (RAF serial JM135) and A19-148 (RAF serial JL946) - an the tail section of the third - A19-36. First two Beaufighters crashlanded at Drysdale Airfield in Western Australia in January 1944. Landed wheels-up alongside the main strip after returning from a raid over Timor Island. Their meticulous attention to detail is always a joy to enjoy at Duxford and we're finally seeing the wonderful Beaufighter coming together.
