N18111 (cn 1983) Found on the edge of the airport near the main terminal entrance as the Air Transport Command Restaurant gate guard. Notice the Cabin door is unusually on the RH side and the large air scoop on top of the engine. The aircraft was hit by a car which caused most of the damage. |

XA-FUM (cn 3255) Over the "cerro del Creston" at Mazatlan (this is the highest natural lighthouse in the world), LAMSA DC-3 (Líneas Aereas Mexicanas S.A), Taken by my grandpa on a vacation trip so I found it on a old stuff box. NC33644 (cn 4123) This sight makes it look like the 1950's, if only the winglet from the M11 wasn't in the frame. I have no idea why this was here, and perhaps if I wasn't so tired from the flight from Atlanta and Greensboro, I would have asked to go on the ramp with the pilots. If anyone has info on why this plane was in Portland, please send me an email, I'd love to know! |
