Untitled
Douglas DC-7B(F)
Miami - Opa-locka (OPF)
USA - Florida, January 15, 2011
Remark
Photographer
N381AA (cn 44921/666) Whenvever I visited Opa Locka I looked forward to seeing this DC-7 with its American Airlines markings. I remember that thunderbolt from my childhood and seeing it brought back good memories. It was sad to learn that she's been carted off to become a restaurant somewhere, but I guess it's better than being scraped. She's being converted and will spend her final days at the New Smyrna Beach Airport, FL.
