Canada - Air Force
Fleet 60K Fort Mk2
Hamilton (YHM / CYHM)
Canada - Ontario, September 2005
Remark
Photographer
3643 (cn 683) A static airframe cobbled together to allow people to sit in a WW2 aircraft at the Canadian Warplane Heritage Museum and see cutaway construction techniques. CWH has another Fort that flies as a warbird.

Canadian Warplane Heritage
Fleet 60K Fort Mk2
Hamilton (YHM / CYHM)
Canada - Ontario, June 20, 2005
Remark
Photographer
C-FORT / 3540 (cn 600) Rare remnant, from a simpler, and now, forgotten time. Unashamed, and still dignified, this Fleet Fort is, what it is, and it doesn't feel the need to compete for your attention. So long ago she fulfilled her wartime duty, and then quietly retired in 1946 only to be quickly forgotten~ Hush now…linger…and really see, this rare piece of aviation history. Look at her beauty! Only 100 were made, and this is the ONLY ONE still flying today! Used to train wireless operators during WWII, she remains the only aircraft completely designed and built, by Canada, during WWII.

Hamilton (YHM / CYHM)
Canada - Ontario, July 9, 2003
Remark
Photographer
C-FORT / 3540 (cn 600) Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe this is the only flying example of a Fort in the world.
