Argentina - Air Force
Fokker F-28-1000C Fellowship
Buenos Aires - Aeroparque Jorge Newbery (AEP / SABE)
Argentina, July 2, 2014
Remark
Photographer
TC-54 (cn 11018) "Spoilers" on an F28/F100 are not really spoilers, but 'Liftdumpers' in Fokker parlance. That is, they only operate on the ground to literally dump lift, not like on other A/C where they also act as in-flight speedbrakes. They're either "in" or "out" and a 50 kts wheel spin-up deploy them upon touchdown.
