AA-014 (cn D229) Germany was the first export customer for the unmistakable Magister and took 62 from French production followed by 188 built under licence by Flugzeug Union Süd (Heinkel-Messerschmitt). A number found their way to Israel, Morocco and Belgium after service in Germany
