68-0246 (cn B1-18) The preserved nose of USAF FB-111A 68-0246, painted in Grey with RAAF Roundels, on static display at the 2007 Wide Bay International Airshow at Bundaberg Airport. The aircraft was assigned to 509 BMW Pease AFB New Hampshire in 1980. Since de-commissioning, the airframe was purchased by the RAAF to provide structural components for the repair of an RAAF F-111. The nose/Crew Module is now used as a RAAF Reserves Display piece. |
