G-AWZK (cn 2312) My first sight of G-AWZK since she was fully rebuilt. Looking fantastic at the AVP, time will tell if she'll get the same indoor facilities as Concorde G-BOAC only yards away! (Pentax K10D) |

G-AWZK (cn 2312) The impresive tail of this classic jetliner on static display at Manchesters Aviation Viewing Park. The tail section houses three Rolls Royce Spey turbojets, a fourth Rolls Royce RB162-86 boost engine unique to the Trident 3B for use at take off, especially in 'hot and high' climates and a fifth hidden inside, the APU. That's five jet engines in one tail!!! (Canon 50D + Sigma 10-20 EX DC HSM) |

G-AWZK (cn 2312) You wouldn't think these seats are from a 1960's jetliner, they are more akin of a business jet. These unique seats at the front of the aircraft allow 6 passengers to sit face to face for a meeting, although you need small legs! (Canon 50D + Sigma 10-20 EX DC HSM, Speedlite 430EX) |

G-AWZZ (cn 2326) Typical "Autoland" weather. The Trident was the first airliner in the world to be cleared to cat 3B conditions, during January 1981 Heathrow arrivals were reduced from the average 375 to 107 of which over 80 per cent (88) were Trident's not one was a Boeing.(quote from my good freind Max Kingsly-Jones's book on the Trident). |
