In 1956 the USSR gave it to Mohammad-Reza Pahlavi (last Shah of Iran) as a VIP aircraft. It replaced the Shah's VIP B-17G EP-HIM for a short time, but later the Shah donated it to Brig-Gen Mohammad Khatami, Commander in Chief of the Imperial Iranian Air Force. The nose emblem is related to him. It was used by him until the mid 1960s. The airplane made a hard landing at Noushahr airport in 1963 or 1964, many hours were spent to permanent repair of that in wet days of the city in three months. Babak T Contact Link to me!
