80-0288 / VA (cn K-017) There is a really nice photo of this plane by Michael Baldock already in the db so I picked this one out. This plane arrived at AMARG during Sept. 91 but was susequently transferred to the Navy inventory and is, hence, stored with the number AN6A0429, with 'N' being for Navy. Previously it served with the 149th Tactical Fighter Squadron of the Virginia ANG based at Richmond. |

79-0466 / AZ (cn K-007) This a/c first arrived at AMARG in Dec.90 but was transferred in Jun. 01 to Navy ownership and so has the PCN/Inventory No. AN6A0422 (the second letter designates N for Navy). |

81-0074 (cn K-027) This plane can't be 73-1002. This plane is an A-7K, very likely 81-0074...you can see the 4 on the landing gear door. There are other pictures of 81-0074 at Fairford that year in the database. |

80-0288 / VA (cn K-017) Proudly on display at AMARC's 'Celebrity Row' in late 1999, this portly A-7K 'SLUF' still wears the markings of her last operator, the Virginia ANG 149th TFS / 192nd TFG based at Byrd Field. There is a suggestion of some nose art under all that spraylat! |
