N4963C (cn 1011) This is the oldest photo on A.net of the oldest surviving Lockheed Twin airliner. Delivered to Northwest Airlines as N14260 in December 1934. Served USAAF as UC-36A 42-56638 in WW2. In 1970 owned by the Air Museum at Ontario and by the mid 1980s preserved at the Pima Museum.

To USA in 1963 serving a series of private owners. A nice size comparison comes from Central American Airlines L-1049H N74CA (C/n 4850).

VH-UZO (cn 1107) This very historic aircraft was back at its old stamping ground for the Essendon Airport Open Day in 1996. Imported by the fledgling Ansett Airways and registered VH-UZO on 26 August 1937, named Ansertes. Struck off the Register in 2002 and currently in storage at Australia's Museum of Flight, Nowra.
