USA - Air Force
Lockheed AC-130A Hercules (L-182)
Orlando - Sanford International (Central Florida Regional) (SFB / KSFB)
USA - Florida, April 1978
Remark
Photographer
55-0029 (cn 182-3056) The faded quality of its Gunship Gray color scheme is noticeable even in this old shot of an Air Force Reserve AC-130A Spectre gunship. Normally based at Duke Field, FL (in the vicinity of Eglin AFB), it was assigned to the 919th Special Operations Group, 711th SOS, and was a static display at the Sanford 1978 air show.

Remark
Photographer
54-1626 (cn 182-3013) This was the first C-130 to be converted to a AC-130 'Spectre' Gunship, the conversion being carried out at Wright-Patterson AFB. It is fitting, therefore, that she is now on display there at the wonderful National Museum of the USAF.
