I called Aero Chago to get their arrival time(s) and explained I wanted to photograph the arrival. The agent quoted the secheduled arrival but quickly added "but don't come then, come about two hours later, the flight is always late". Concerned I'd miss the Connie's arrival, I went out on time only to have to wait for two hours in the heat and sun before this plane showed up! |

How many gallons of oil are spread over those wings? An old-time airline employee told me "you NEVER stand behind one of those airplanes as they start up, its one of the first things you learn as an airline employee!" |

The ramp and cockpit crews were great. What cargo was lucky enough to fly a Constellation that day? The answer was "Milkey Way candy bars!" That was nothing like I was expecting to hear! |

The age of this Connie was very evident, she had flown a few miles, but was still so beautiful despite her age! |
