48-0614 (cn 2606) Dwight D. Eisenhower had two different VC-121As assigned as his personal transports at different times. This aircraft was the first. All of Eisenhower's Connies were called "Columbine" after the state flower of Colorado. 7167th Special Air Missions Squadron. Powered by 4 Wright R-3350 radials, 2,200 hp each. Pima Air and Space Museum.

48-0609 (cn 2601) Military Air Transport Service VC-121A of 1254 ATG on final approach to RAF Burtonwood, Lancashire, in 1955. The aircraft wears the contracted serial 8609 and later became C-GXKO and N494TW and is now preserved in South Korea.

48-0614 (cn 2606) This Connie, "Columbine I", was the personal transport of Gen. Dwight Eisenhower when he was Commander of NATO in Europe in the early 50s. It was delivered to the Air Force on 2 February 1949 and retired from use in June 1967.
