This hulk has been relocated to Duxford while the IWM in London undergoes refurbishment. Nothing is really known about this particular airframe except that it was evaluated at the end of WWII by the Allied Technical Air Intelligence Unit, hence, the scribbled initials.

This cockpit section of the A6M5 Reisen was to Imperial War Museum London transferred in 1961. It is probalby "Zero" A6M5 built by Nakajima factory in 1944 surrendered and tested by A.T.A.I.U.-S.E.A. (Allied Technical Air Intelligence Unit - South East Asia) at Tebrau airbase, Malaysia in 1946 and coded BI-05.

NX46770 / 61-120 (cn 5357) Mitsubishi A6M5 Reisen (Zero) sitting quietly after displaying at the 2010 Planes of Fame Airshow, Chino, California. This is the only example of a fully genuine Zero left in the world, as it is the only one still equipped with its original Nakajima Sakae engine.

81-161 (cn 4168) Built by Mitsubishi at Nagoya in 1943, this genuine Zero served in in Rabaul (Papua New Guinea). She was abandoned at the former airstrip after the war. In 1974 the fuselage and wings were recovered from Rabaul. Restoration lasted twenty years (1980-2000). Now preserved at the Yasukuni Shrine in Tokyo.
