UK - England, December 30, 2013
Remark
Photographer
43-4037 (cn 108-32641) This Mitchell is in fact 44-29366 and never saw active service, rather was used only for pilot training after WWII. Her good flying condition resulted in film roles such as 'Catch 22' and 'Hanover Street' before arriving at the RAF Museum in 1982.

It was then shipped back to the USA where it served as a training aircraft until 1958. In 1968 the plane figured in the movie "Catch 22" but after that it was "grounded" until purchased by Harry Doan from Florida. The Cavanaugh museum acquired it in 1992 and after intensive restoration it is now claimed to be the most original flying B-25 anywhere in the world. [Nikon D700 / AF-S Nikkor 16-35mm]
