Pitts S-1C Special
Wattisham (EGUW)
UK - England, June 10, 2014
Remark
Photographer
G-FCUK (cn 02) Local Pitts taxiing along the now rarely used Northern Taxiway at Wattisham. It's now well over twenty years since this taxiway was used by the mightly F-4's flown by 74 (Tiger) Squadron, RAF. Behind can be seen the SAR hangar which houses the Sea Kings who are the only RAF flying unit still based here. An AAC Apache, the main current resident, can also be seen on the runway.
