61-0086 / RE (cn D281) Served throughout the Vietnam War dropping thousands of tons of bombs on North Vietnamese targets. Retired out to the Air National Guard in the early 1980's. Nicknamed "BIG SAL" by the pilot assigned to this Attack Fighter. The story goes this name was chosen due to the pilots wife's name being Sally. (Name visable on the front wing). Powered by 1 Pratt & Whitney J-75P-19W, 26,400 lbs thrust with afterburner. Pima Air and Space Museum.

61-0146 / HI (cn D341) Now preserved at (the publicly accessible) Century Circle adjacent to the West Gate at Edwards. All models of the F-105 were flight tested at Edwards and this example was acquired upon retirement from the 419 TFW at Hill AFB, UT in 1984. She was faithfully restored to static display standard by the 412th Test Wing Surfaces Team in 2004.
