Republic F-84F Thunderstreak
Dayton - Wright-Patterson AFB (Wright AFB) (DWF) (closed)
USA - Ohio, April 16, 2014
Remark
Photographer
52-6526 "National Museum of the US Air Force" The Thunderstreak was a developed swept-wing version of the F-84 Thunderjet. Its maximum speed increased considerably compared to the Thunderjet but it still remained subsonic. This changed with its successor, the F-100 Super Sabre [Nikon D800 / AF-S Nikkor 16-35mm]

USA - Air Force
Republic (General Motors) F-84F Thunderstreak
Riverside - March ARB (AFB / Field) (RIV / KRIV)
USA - California, July 25, 2013
Remark
Photographer
51-9432 / FS-432 Whilst the F-84F was certainly dogged by development, production and perfomance issues it flew at a time of rapid advancement in fast-jet capability and the lessons learned paved the way for the superb Century-series of fighters that followed. This Thunderstreak is on display at the super March Field Air Museum.
