51-3893 (cn 55734) This H-19 is in fact 52-7587 but painted in these markings to honour 'Hopalong', one of two H-19s to make the first helicopter crossing of the Atlantic, from Westover AFB, MA to Prestwick, during the summer of 1952.

Remark
Photographer
51-3893 (cn 55734) The UH-19B is the USAF version of the Sikorsky S-55, an aircraft used by all US military services in the 1950s and 1960s. It was the first of the Sikorsky helicopters with enough cabin space and lifting ability to allow satisfactory operation in troop transport or rescue roles. The UH-19B on display falsely marked as H-19A 51-3893, known as "Hopalong", one of two H-19s to make the first trans-Atlantic helicopter flight from Westover AFB to Scotland in 1952. It is in fact UH-19B 52-7587.
