N16-125 / (9)10 (cn WA796) Very early arrival at the Heli-Pacific 2008. The downdraft from the rotors was quite incredible with one barely able to take a steady photograph! |

N16-238 / (9)20 (cn WA929) A Sea King operated by 817 Sqn does a handling demonstration at the 'Phillips Sky Fest' at Canberra Airport in 1986. This aircraft was acquired in 1983 as an attrition replacement for five Sea Kings lost at sea in 'Ditchings' between 1975 and 1979! (Codes 01, 03, 04, 06 and 08). I flew from Nowra to Canberra in Sea King N16-100 on 14July1977. As 'Shark 02', that aircraft crashed at Nias Island Indonesia on 02Apr2005. |

The helo wears a special White paint scheme (with Blue stripe), which was a modified version of that applied for the RAN 75th Anniversary in 1986.
