Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-21bisD
Zadar (- Zemunik) (ZAD / LDZD)

Remark
Photographer
121 (cn 75021145) Unfortunately this is one of the last pictures of the last Croatian Air Force MIG-21bis in camouflage colors only ten days before withdraw from service. This aircraft crashed on return to the military base at the Airport Zagreb-Pleso just a few hours after this picture was taken. Luckily the pilot Colonel Stanko Hrženjak was on time successfully ejected from the plane and land safely by parachute. "Open Day in 93rd. Air Force Base Zemunik"

165 (cn 516911036) What is surely the most eye-catching MiG in European skies striking a photogenic pose as it recovers home into RWY 23. The lead ship of a three-jet flight, 165 was out on a practice flight for the upcoming Victory Day parade above the town of Knin.
