Malaysia Airlines
Boeing 747-4H6F/SCD
Kuala Lumpur - International (Sepang) (KUL / WMKK)
Malaysia, August 24, 2014
Remark
Photographer
9M-MPR (cn 28434/1371) When MH transported home the remains of the first Malaysian passengers from MH17 from AMS to KUL, two B747-400Fs which normally wear "MASkargo" titles had "Malaysia Airlines" titles applied instead. 9M-MPS was eventually used for this purpose. 9M-MPR is pictured here landing at home base was likely stand-by aircraft. It was a very thoughtful act by MH to apply these titles, to ensure that the returning passengers were not seen as cargo, but as passengers. I applaud MH! [Nikon D4s]
