Aero Spacelines
Boeing 377-10-30 Stratocruiser
Tucson - International (Municipal No.2) (TUS / KTUS)
USA - Arizona, September 1979
Remark
Photographer
N74603 (cn 15949) At the time the world's last surviving civilian Strat, this one was delivered to Northwest as 'Stratocruiser Chicago' on July 10, 1949. Stored by Aero Spacelines, but they did not use it in their Guppy conversion programme. Seen here still in basic NW colours, not long before being broken up - such a shame.

N212AS (cn 002) I believe this was being ferried to Airbus from the US, check the brand new aluminium and the hard life for the Pan Am mechanics.
