HK-1845 (cn 1077) Seen after a heavy shower loaded and ready to head south again, this was one of three Electras operated by Aerocondor at the time, but the only pure freighter. Originally a Northwest Orient aircraft (N122US) from 7.59, she went on to AFA in 6.66 then a number of holiday and corporate firms before finding her way to Colombia in 10.75 as HK-1809 with Aerocosta shortly after conversion to cargo config. Wfu Barranquilla soon after the date of this shot and later scrapped |

HK-1974 (cn 18028/193) I was asked by the son of a former Aerocondor pilot whether I had any slides of that colourful airline, so here to oblige... unfortunately too close for the 55mm on my old Spotmatic, but nice nonetheless in the original scheme. Bought by the Colombian airline in 5.74 (making the reg appropriate) from AA with whom she served as N7542A after delivery in 2.61. Wfu at Barranquilla 4.79 and seen derelict there 1987; subsequently scrapped |

HK-777 (cn 1115) American's N6126A when new, seen here late on an overcast afternoon. Triple sevens weren't lucky for this Electra, for it crashed just 4 months later in Colombia. |
