N12-152816 / 852 (cn 285C) Rare view of in-service RAN S-2G Tracker Code 852, at the moment of touchdown and arrestor cable engagement at Nowra in 1980. Note cable and donuts 'whipping' near the orange cable drum, and smoke from separate MLG touchdowns. This aircraft was acquired in 1977 in a batch of S-2G Trackers which replaced the 12 S-2Es lost in the Nowra hangar fre of 04Dec1976. Low res 29 year old photo. This is my 600th photo accepted by Airliners.net. |

N16-125 / (9)10 (cn WA796) Very early arrival at the Heli-Pacific 2008. The downdraft from the rotors was quite incredible with one barely able to take a steady photograph! |

N42-505 / 505 (cn 11505) This was one of two RAN 723 Squadron A-109s that had just arrived at Essendon to operate in support of the 'Black Saturday' bushfire-fighting operations. It wears a 'summer uniform' white scheme (the RAN's other two are black and grey). This helo originally operated as an EMS aircraft, based in the French city of Laon from May 2002 and using the temporary Italian rego I-LAON. It was later re-registered F-GLEI. It came to Australia with the temporary registration VH-NPX before being leased to the RAN. |

Originally delivered to the RAAF as A22-023 on 27 November 1984, this helo was assigned to the ADF Helicopter School at RAAF Fairbairn, Canberra. It was transferred to the RAN in October 2000, still in its original white and blue scheme. It's since adopted this more 'warry' grey scheme. |

N22-022 / 822 (cn 1771) Since last photographed for the database, this Squirrel has adopted a more 'operational' grey colour scheme. Originally delivered to the RAAF as A22-022 on 22 November 1984, it initially served at the ADF Helicopter School at RAAF Fairbairn (Canberra).
