H-90 (cn 11266) Built in 1969,on 22-23. December 1972 this Huey along with sister-ships H-89 and H-91 took part in the rescue of the 16 survivors of the Andes Flight Disaster,perhaps the most famous airplane crash with survivors ever. 71 days before, on 13. October 1972 Uruguayan AF FH-227 registered 571 carrying 45 pax including a rugby union team had crashed on Cerro Seler on the Chilean-Argentinian border. The rescue was made under extreme flyability conditions, as the crash site -near Cerro Sosneado- was 3800 m. high
