VH-SBL / 03 (cn 12056) Rare low res close cropped Front View of Dakota National Air DC-3C VH-SBL, on static display at the Canberra Festival Air Show in March 1993. I flew in VH-SBL from Nowra in Jan1996, and photographed her (in TAA - Airlines of New Guinea livery) at Mt Hagen TPNG in March 1975. Photo taken the day that MiG-15UTI VH-LSN (Code 6015) crashed near Canberra Airport. It was also Federal Election Day. |

VH-UPQ (cn 16552/33300) Looking sadly toward the sky that the DC3 once dominated. Now missing many parts and covered in mould. It is on display at the Australian Museum of Flight at Bankstown Airport pending restoration. |
