G-JEMA (cn 2028) Emerald aircraft were pretty rare visitors to MAN. Here G-JEMA prepares for take-off from runway 24L. (Canon EOS 350D & EF75-300 F4-5.6 USM III) |

G-JEMC (cn 2032) Back in action after a long stint of redundancy. She'd just had engine and taxi runs and is seen here taxiing to the hangar. I wonder who the new owner will be? (Canon 50D + 75-300 IS USM) |

G-ATMJ (cn 1593) Built in 1966 having opperated previously with British Airways, Dan-Air London, and the Civil Aviation Authoriy, her days look numbered unless a new operator can be found. She sits propless and confined to the apron ever since Emerald Airways air opperators certificate was revoked in May 2006 when they went in to liquidation. First upload of the 2009 with by new toy, Canon EOS 50D; ISO 320, 1/200 @ f/8 (Canon 50D + Sigma 50-500 EX APO DG) |

G-BVOV (cn 1777) Built in 1980 and opperated previously with LAR - Transregional under the registration CS-TAO. Her days look numbered unless a new operator can be found. She sits propless and confined to the apron ever since Emerald Airways air opperators certificate was revoked in May 2006 when they went in to liquidation. First upload of the 2009 with by new toy, Canon EOS 50D; ISO 320, 1/200 @ f/8. This aircraft is now submerged as a dive attraction a Capernwray Diving Centre (Canon 50D + Sigma 50-500 EX APO DG) |

G-ATMJ (cn 1593) Sat on the apron alongside sister HS.748's; G-OTBA, G-BVOV and G-OSOE on a cold and frosty winters morning. Three HS.748's have now left BLK for pastures new, mainly in Bangladesh for cargo operations. The fait of these aircraft, and 5 others remains to be seen (Canon 350D + Sigma 50-500 EX APO DG) |

G-BIUV (cn 1701) A sad sight on a dismall day in Blackpool. This old bird, built in 1971 and a former Dan Air London aircraft, is confined to the apron infront of the Emerald Airways hangar since Emerald Airways air opperators certificate was revoked in May 2006 and the company went in to liquidation. Although the aircraft has been moved around for storage, it remains at Blackpool and is likely to be scrapped (Canon 350D + 75-300 IS USM) |

G-JEMA (cn 2028) Grounded on the apron infront of the Emerald Airways hangar, along with sister ship G-JEMC, HS.748 G-OSOE and 3 others since Emeralds air opperators certificate was revoked on 4th May 2006. There's evidence of aircraft maintenance on G-JEMA judging by the red tape and blue wrapping, but the props have now been removed. Will they ever fly again? (Canon 350D + Sigma 50-500 EX APO DG) |

G-JEMC (cn 2032) The remains of the Emerald Airways fleet sat rotting on the apron. Some of the aircraft with all white liveries have been maintained and made airworthy so may go to new homes soon (Atlantic Airlines?), but the others are likely to be scrapped if new owners can't be found (Canon 350D + Sigma 50-500 EX APO DG) |

G-OSOE (cn 1697) Previously registered G-AYYG, this classic aircraft built in 1971 is seen parked on the apron in front of the Emerald Airways hangar. She's sat motionless for a while now since Emerald Airways went in to liquidation in May 2006. Hopefully a new buyer will be found soon to give her a new lease of life like a couple of her sister ships which have recently gone to Zoom Airways of Bangladesh (Canon 350D + Sigma 50-500 EX APO DG) |
