TF-FLP (cn 10240) Engine test, probably the last in Icelandic service. During the last two weeks of service with Flugleiðir this last F-27 for Flugleiðir/Flugfélag Íslands carried the inscription "F-27 for 27 years, Thank you" on the right front fuselage. I received permission to print the stickers and the technical department stuck them on. It did depart to Maastricht, Netherlands, carrying this sticker |

TF-FLP A unique photo. When TF-FIU arrived in Iceland on May 9, 1992, Fokker wanted a ground photo showing all four of the new F-50s. I drew this lineup and the Icelandair technicians lined them up with the last F-27 in front of the group. We needed a crane to get high enough for the view. The F-50s are counting from the far right, TF-FIU, TF-FIR, TF-FIS and TF-FIT. The F-27 was returned to Fokker on the 12th. of May. |
