India - Air Force
English Electric Canberra T4
Off-Airport - Deolali
India, June 14, 2014
Remark
Photographer
IQ999 The T.4 was a dual-control trainer variant of the Canberra, which was originally a twin-engined light bomber, with a crew of three, of all-metal stressed-skin construction, powered by two Rolls-Royce Avon 109 turbojets of 7,500 lb thrust each. This airframe was built in 1958 and is probably the best preserved warbird I have ever seen. All markings are completely intact , no signs of rusting surfaces , the roundels and finflashes are correct , serial painted , this aircraft deserves this kind of maintenance.

Hindustan Ajeet
Bangalore (- Hindustan) (VOBG)
India, May 2014
Remark
Photographer
E1083 E-1083 is one of the most photographed Ajeet aircraft around. Its claim to fame is that it was the first Ajeet Prototype. The aircraft also has an unusual paint scheme in which a tricolor stripe runs along the fuselage from the air intakes to the jet pipe - Information Courtesy - War Birds of India

Ilyushin Il-76MD Gajaraj
Leh - Kushok Bakula Rinpoche (IXL / VILH)
India, April 16, 2014
Remark
Photographer
K3000 / U (cn 0073480419) Mighty Gajraj powers its way out of the Ladakh Valley, with four roaring Soloviev D-30s providing the necessary power. The IL-76 is the lifeline for our troops at forward posts of Siachen and other peaks , where delivering men and material isnt possile by road. Antonovs and Ilyushins of the Himalayan Eagles have been doing a great job keeping up with the demands of the Indian Army.
