9-2701 (cn 65-412) 701 is first Iran`s RH-53D,Imperial Iranian Navy Ordered 12 RH-53D but 6 of them delivered to IINA in 1978 ,other six RH-53D not deliverd because Iran`s Islamic Revolution was occured on 1979.two of six USMC`s RH-53D used in Operation Eagle Claw take advantage by Iran,one of them was used for spare parts in some years ago also other former USMC`s Stallion flying in IRINA,Various reports suggest that Iran has acquired 3 active RH-53D. |

6-2415 Imperial Iranian Navy Built 20 AB-212ASW,they were delivered to Iran navy before and after Islamic revolution,their were used for Anti Submarine and Anti Ship Missions,its weapon was AS.12 Air to Surface missile used for anti shipping missions,Iran Navy built 36 AS.12 before Iran`s Revolution,in recent years these helicopters don`t have ASW role because their ASQ-18 Sonars and their AS.12 Pylons was removed near 10 years ago. |

9-2704 (cn 65-415) The largest helicopter in Iranian fleet, usually flying for maritime & minesweeping operations . Its belived that At least four of stallions in Iranian service is captured from US Marines as a result of their failure in operation eagle claw on April 24, 1980 in Tabas desert inside Iran. Image is taken during army parade.This fly pass was one of the largest fly pass over Tehran, which about 150 helicopters of different types participated, Including AB-205, AB-206 ,Bell 214, AH-1J ,CH-47C,RH-53D & SH-3D. |
