Photographer
E-105 (cn 5312) "National Museum of the US Air Force" The Shiden-Kai is considered to be one of the best fighters the Japanese flew during WWII. It combined high speed with maneuverability, strong armament and the capability to digest battle damage. The museum's airplane is a fighter-bomber version which was restored over 8 years and put on display in 2008. [Nikon D800 / AF-S Nikkor 16-35mm]

Mitsubishi A6M2 Reisen (Zero)
Dayton - Wright-Patterson AFB (Wright AFB) (DWF) (closed)
USA - Ohio, April 16, 2014
Remark
Photographer
A1-3-102 (cn 51553) "National Museum of the US Air Force" The A6M was usually referred to by its pilots as the "Reisen",{zero fighter},"0" being the last digit of the Imperial year 2600 (1940) when it entered service with the Imperial Navy. The Zero is considered the best fighter in the Pacific theater at the start of the war . However lack of development made it outdated towards the end of the war as the Allies came up with more capable aircraft. (Ref.: Wikipedia) [Nikon D800 / AF-S Nikkor 16-35mm]
