Frequently, Congolese Antonovs are overloaded and this might have been fatal for the Charlie Victor Tango. A crew of six, 4 Russians and 2 Congolse died in the crash. This An-12 made almost daily flights into Congo's heartland with cargo and passengers. In March 2006 9U-BHN swapped its Burundese registration for the Congolese 9Q-CVT.
