G-IOMA (cn 10106) The fourth F-27 built, delivered to Aer Lingus on 19.11.58 as EI-AKB, also served Philippine A/l, Alia, Spantax, Aviaco and WDL before becoming the first large aircraft with Manx in 9.82. Went on to Loganair in 9.83 and back to WDL in 1986. Wfu and used for fire practice at Västerås 4.96. I reckon it looked just gorgeous in the Manx colours |

G-AOYM (cn 262) Yankee Mike, delivered to BEA in 3.58, was the first Viscount to be graced with the superb Manx Airlines colours when leased from BAF between 2.85 and 10.85. Seen here on a fine morning just after pushback from the 'N' stands for her flight to Ronaldsway, the aircraft went to Lineas Aereas Canarias as EC-DYC following the Manx lease. Stored at Los Rodeos airport, Tenerife and moved to a park to be used as a restaurant but scrapped in 1999, although the nose was saved |
