N877MG (cn 20806) The Historic Flight Foundation’s Pan Am DC-3 is just about to lift off on its inaugural flight as part of the collection. Keen observers might notice the telephone in the long rear-most window – this aircraft, at one time converted to a Super DC-3, served as an executive transport prior to a long period of storage and the subsequent restoration. |

NC18604 / 20 (cn 1991) One of Pan American's incomparable Boeing 314s takes off near New York. The name "Atlantic Clipper" has been deleted and replaced by "No. 20". She served on Atlantic routes from delivery in March 1939. To US Navy as 48226 but still operated by Pan Am. Returned to PAA and last known flight to Foynes, Ireland was on 18 August 1945. Scrapped in 1946, none of the twelve 314s built survives. Obtained from PAA 60 years ago. |

NC19903 (cn 2003) First flown in 1938, the Boeing 307 was the first airliner with a pressurized fuselage. It could transport 33 passengers in great comfort and cruise at 6,096 meters (20,000 feet), while maintaining a cabin pressure of 2,438 meters (8,000 feet). The Stratoliner incorporated the wings, tail and engines of the Boeing B-17C bomber. Ten Stratoliners were built. This one was flown by Pan American as the Clipper Flying Cloud. |

NC19903 (cn 2003) The first fully pressurized airliner. First flight of type : December 31, 1938. Powered by four Wright Cyclone radials. This is the best remaining example of two out of ten 307s that were built. The other is the "Cosmic Muffin" seen in Photo ID: 0434168. This aircraft is restored in Pan Am livery as "Clipper Flying Cloud." |
