Rumour has it that the UPS MD-11 that is visible in the background taxied down Alpha just to see the A380 departing - after it left they did notify ATC that they needed to return to the cargo apron, without citing a reason - however that seems highly unlikely. F-WWOW (cn 001) A talking point between some spotters is the size of the Airbus engines, but I think those Trent 900's speak for themselves. Also note the new design feature of the intake cowling on all 4 engines. And the 380 only has two reversers on the number 2 and 3 engines. |
