Although a grass strip was prepared this became unusable due to cross winds and a taxiway where aircraft had been parked became a short temporary runway. It is now owned by the Norman Aeroplane Trust of London. It spent much of the RAF Halton open weekend and Moth Rally doing short charity flights, along with numerous smaller vintage aircraft.
