Built as MD-11, cvt'd to MD-11(F) freighter at HKG during June 2007. Other serials - PP-VTP with VARIG - delivered during June 2004, HB-IWN with Swiss International Air Lines and Bundung Lease, and also N287UP with UPS - United Parcel Service. Wears FN N with Swissair. Sister HB-IWG also wore Swissair Asia colors. HB-IWN was named "Dom" with Swiss International Air Lines. |

HB-IWG (cn 48452/472) Another sad sight at Mohajve. Beautiful Swissair Asia MD-11 sitting on the boneyard, even the parent company is not flying anymore.Too bad the MD11 never ruled the sky like her ancestor the DC10. For me both are one the most beatiful planes in the sky. |
