HK-4151-X (cn 861610) First photo for this reg in the database. The Let was performing its startup procedure, its props started turning only moments later. This aircraft's sister ship crashed while departing Providencia island, only thirty minutes away from San Andres. |

In the hangar the HK-4302 with the new scheme, next the HK-4374X with the colors of West Aruba. Sadly crashed on August 16th of 2005 in Venezuela killing all 160 people on board. And finally the HK-4305 with the old color scheme. The other aircraft shown here it's an Antonov An-32, the YV-1089-CP. |

HK-4374X (cn 49484/1315) It was a nice surprise to see this one at Rionegro, freshly painted in the livery of their West Caribbean Aruba subsidiary. Sadly 1 month later, on August 16th, this aircraft crashed in Venezuela, killing all 160 people on board. My sympathy goes to the passengers, crew and their families. |

HK-3678 (cn 261) It's so sad to see WEST (in their new colors) doing totally nothing. They would be grounded for only 2 weeks because of maintenance, but we all know that they are in big financial problems. What a sad end for such a great airliner. WEST, thanks for the nice flight last year. At the back her sistership a MD-82 ( HK-4305X ) still in the old colors. |

HK-4302 (cn 48027/973) Something you almost never get to see, the JT8D engine with cowlings open. Special thanks to the friendly guys at WCA who opened it up completely just for this picture. |
