D-AHIA (cn 29082/229) The most spectacular I have experienced in Europe so far! Very late 90 degree right turn ending right at the threshold of the runway. Dangerous downwinds from the hills make it even more difficult. |

F-BPVY (cn 21745/370) Yeah, he is REAL low! If Air France had names for their aircraft like Pan Am did, we could call this one "Clipper of the Fence". |

JA8081 (cn 25064/851) I've seen the Space Shuttle take-off and I've seen plenty of topless women in SXM but nothing comes close to a 747 coming directly in your direction just a few hundred feet below you! This was really amazing. It's a real air-to-air picture, no discussions please! |

OE-LLU (cn 113) Straight in approach to one of the most spectacular runways in the world! The touchdown point is below the people in the photo and then the runway slope goes uphill with max 18.5 degrees. The runway length is 525 m on an elevation of 6368 ft (1941 m) to 6581 ft (2006 m) - Happy landing! |

OV-105 (cn OV-105) Launch of Space Shuttle Endeavour from Pad 39B on mission STS-97. This is a five minute exposure taken from the Causeway (about 7 miles away from the pad). Taken with a borrowed all-manual Nikomat camera, 24 mm lens, f/16, Kodak Royal Gold 100 film. When the exposure was stopped in this shot, the shuttle was approximately 229 statute miles downrange. |

PH-BFA / FA-001 (cn 23999/725) How low can you get! Simply amazing and breathtaking to watch. It's all over in a second but the photograph and memory's will last for ever. SXM is simply the most amazing place I have visited, I would recommend it to all. Special thanks to Derek P for his help [Canon EOS 20D] |
