N2053C / 138366/XE (cn 200-437) I was out working in my yard when this one flew over with its engine making loud pops. He was losing altitude and went behind the trees landing on a back road. A great deal of credit to the pilot for a safe landing. Shown here being towed back to LVK via Interstate 580 through Livermore. |

D-ALPF (cn 476) It is often said that every emotion has its own color, and for passion the color is red. I don't know if that is exactly like that, but one thing I am sure, and that all the spotters that went to Faro airport for the annual visit organized by our association had a really wonderful and memorable day, with plenty of very nice aircrafts to photograph under the warm Algarve sun and a deep blue sky. My sincere thanks to the A.P.E.A. and to the Faro airport administration for allowing the visit. |

A good way for those of you that have never been able to stand next to an engine and fully appreciate just how big they really are. Yes, that is a me standing in the engine, the marvels of modern technology made this shot possible! |
