With no place to go, no money, no food, no hotel… not anything. I managed to survive the night in between terminals as I waited for a moment I had dreamed for a long time... I was rewarded with this superb 18mm shot of MAX that I will treasure for all my life. |

N770BB (cn 25220/387) I have to give a huge thanks to Ralph Duenas for this one. He knew I wanted to shoot this aircraft for a while and called me at work to let me know she was landing at BUR. I raced out to the airport and caught her on short final for Runway 8. Currently this is the only private 757 with winglets. They are huge (8 feet tall) up close, and the paint job makes them look even better. Thanks again Ralph! |

N649AS (cn 30663/1386) Wow! Northern lights and the Great Dipper!! This could be one of the ultimate window views that I could expect. Mother Nature surely does know how to pose for photographs. However, this is changing forever and could disappear suddenly as we are now traveling more than 700 km/h with 10 km off the ground. Definitely, this is a damn difficult image to capture where my passion for photography comes from. The red cast on the wing comes from the anti-collision light as I managed to synchronize my photo with it. |

C-GXXB (cn 426) Is washed by the mechanic after all flights were over. It was chilly and clear dark when the lights had just started blinking. Company's Beaver and Turbo Otter were resting together enjoying the beautiful night. The tail and vertical stabilizer of the Twin Otter are a little blurry because the engine was running during 30 sec exposure. Christmas illumination on the office makes this scene more impressive. |

Due to bad weather on the previous days, there were a total of 42 flights on this day! Of interest: only pilots with over 7 years' experience are allowed to land here! |
