Remark
Photographer

Oldest ( and lousiest)shot of N950PB on database and first shot in Europe

British Airways
Vickers Super VC10 Srs1151
London - Heathrow (LHR / EGLL)
UK - England, May 1979
Remark
Photographer
G-ASGL (cn 862) As seen from the Queens Building, this aircraft is touching down on runway 28L. This is one of the two VC10s that I flew in. The old BOAC advert for the VC10 was 'Love at first flight.' It certainly was for me. Taken with a borrowed 400mm lens which weighed about the same as a brick, rather like the Bigma I use today actually !

Remark

EI-ASH (cn 20223/252) It was not unusual to see Aer Lingus 737s in oddball liveries back in the seventies as they often used to lease out one or two off-season. This one still wears the yellow of Canadian operator Transair.
