XR222 (cn XO-4) Seen on the active ramp prior to being moved to the £25 million AirSpace Museum hangar. The aircraft had just been rolled out after completion of an 18 month restoration programme. The aircraft was the forth production airframe and was incomplete when the project was cancelled. It was allocated to the Cranfield Institute of Technology prior to being transferred to the Imperial War Museum. |

This was one of the fastest aircraft see by me in the Low Level Area, I have always said that nothing goes as fast as a Hawk through the Loop, well I have to take that back!
