USA - California, August 2005
Remark

9V-SVC (cn 28526/355) I understand this is the first aircraft with the new and improved Spacebed Business Class Seats. Most noticable difference is the dark purple Alcantara material has been replaced by similiar coloured leather. Still has the useless tray table, uncomfortable support and arms that descend after you've balanced a drink on them.

A6-ETA (cn 34597/538) Etihad's new super-spacious business class, called Pearl Zone, on the new 777 flagship. I was very impressed. The green light spots on the bins are not sensor reflections but from the green seat "OK" lights.

Australia - New South Wales, May 1, 2005
Remark
Photographer
A6-EBB (cn 32789/508) After the long flight from BKK we near SYD. The F class cabin of this 773ER was totally empty today bar myself and my father. I have to say that the new First Suites on Emirates are absolutely wonderful. The TV's are fantastic, the seat is compfy, the mini bar is very handy and the service is equisite! I really did enjoy my flight on this aircraft. A big thanks goes out to the CSM on the flight that day, she was so very nice to myself and my dad during the flight. (1dmkii/15mm F2.8 Fisheye/ISO 800)

9V-SVC (cn 28526/355) Continuing the flight back to SIN as SQ17, originating from YVR with a brief stop in ICN. Seen here is SQ's famous Spacebed-equipped Raffles Class. This particular flight was full, with 288 pax and 2+11 crew. It is estimated that we will burn 41,300lbs of fuel for this ICN-SIN sector. Note the Christmas decorations on the side walls.
