OE-LLU (cn 113) Straight in approach to one of the most spectacular runways in the world! The touchdown point is below the people in the photo and then the runway slope goes uphill with max 18.5 degrees. The runway length is 525 m on an elevation of 6368 ft (1941 m) to 6581 ft (2006 m) - Happy landing! |

JA8081 (cn 25064/851) I've seen the Space Shuttle take-off and I've seen plenty of topless women in SXM but nothing comes close to a 747 coming directly in your direction just a few hundred feet below you! This was really amazing. It's a real air-to-air picture, no discussions please! |

N401WJ (cn 599) After a brief downpour, a nice puddle formed on the tarmac, leaving this nice photo opportunity. This sharp Gulfstream V, bathed nicely by the airport lights, rests quietly as heavy clouds drift above in the night skies, with the almost mirror-like reflection adding a final touch to the photo. Even though this shot left me soaked with aircraft oil, the result leaves me with no regrets! |

OH-LQA (cn 058) Happy Heavy Hour in Helsinki! Finnair's A340 taking off at sunset from rwy 04R with Finnair MD-11 OH-LGF lining up behind. The TV mast in the background looks close but it is actually 25 kilometres (15.5 miles) away. |
